ANNEX A: PEACEPLUS Project Participant Privacy Notice
1. Scope of this Annex This Annex applies specifically to volunteer participants in PEACEPLUS projects delivered by Intelligent Marketing Solutions in partnership with the Inland Waterways Association of Ireland – Newry Portadown branch (IWAI-NP) and Newry, Mourne and Down District Council (NMDDC), and the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
2. Additional Data We Collect
· Special Category Data (Medical): Health, allergies, or physical accessibility requirements.
· Special Category Data (Religious/Political): Religious belief or community background.
· Section 75 Monitoring Data: Age, gender, and disability status.
3. Purpose of Collection
· Medical Information: To ensure participant safety during activities and make accessibility adjustments.
· Religious/Equality Information: To fulfill Section 75 monitoring requirements as mandated by the PEACEPLUS program.
4. Lawful Basis for Processing We process Special Category data based on your Explicit Consent (Article 9(2)(a) GDPR). Consent may be withdrawn at any time, though this may limit participation in safety-critical activities.
5. Sharing Your Data Your data will be shared with the IWAI-NP (for operational safety) and the NMDDC / SEUPB and designated government/EU audit bodies (for monitoring and compliance).
6. Data Retention To meet PEACEPLUS audit requirements, all project-related personal data will be retained until 31 December 2034.
